Ankush Venugopal

Ankush Venugopal has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Currently, they hold the position of Software Developer at OnRobot since June 2022. Prior to this, from July 2021 to June 2022, Ankush worked as a Student Worker at OnRobot.

Before joining OnRobot, Ankush worked as a Software Engineer at LTI - Larsen & Toubro Infotech from November 2017 to September 2020. In this role, they gained expertise in MEAN/MEEN stack development, utilizing frameworks such as React, Angular, Ember for front-end development, and NodeJS for server-side development. Ankush also worked on databases like MySQL and MongoDB and was involved in bringing websites into ADA compliance. Ankush also had some experience with AWS and reverse proxy during their time at LTI.

Ankush started their career as an Intern at Just Robotics in October 2017. Here, they focused on making science and robotics more accessible to children through teaching and developing microcontroller prototypes. Ankush also utilized CNC machines and 3D printers for prototyping purposes.

In 2016, Ankush worked as a Summer Intern at Old Dominion University. Here, they participated in a challenge hosted by a local tech company called Netarus. Their team received second place and a cash prize for their work on image processing and machine learning techniques for analyzing and synthesizing daily reports for a local construction site.

Ankush Venugopal pursued their education in a chronological manner, beginning in 2013. From 2013 to 2017, they attended Acharya Institutes, where they received a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechatronics. Continuing their studies, Ankush obtained a Master's degree in Mechatronics and Embedded Systems from Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark from 2020 to 2022.
