Dr Daniel Tekleab

Dr. Daniel Tekleab is a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in semiconductor process and device modeling, currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff and Principal Engineer at ON Semiconductor since April 2014. Prior experience includes a role as Staff TCAD Engineer at Aptina, where significant accomplishments in 2D/3D CMOS process simulation were achieved, including modeling CMOS image sensor pixels and predicting performance, which streamlined experimental processes. Previous positions also encompass predictive modeling for IBM, focusing on advanced CMOS technologies and TCAD development, and serving as a Senior Modeling Engineer at Freescale Semiconductor. Dr. Tekleab earned a PhD in Physics and an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University.
