Geert Evens

Geert Evens has extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as the Director of New Product Development Enablement at onsemi since July 2002, where responsibilities include designing corporate-wide procedures for new product development. Previous roles at onsemi encompassed Director of Design Methodology, Director of Design for the Automotive Products Division, and Director of Automotive and Industrial ASIC Design in Europe, overseeing multiple design centers and various chip design initiatives. Prior to onsemi, Geert held positions at Alcatel Microelectronics including Telecom ASIC BU Manager and Design Manager, focusing on custom library development and ASIC design for telecommunications and automotive applications. Geert's career began with a position as a Research Assistant at KU Leuven, following the completion of Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering - Telecommunication from KU Leuven and Micro Electronics from Industriele Hogeschool Brussel.
