Thad Smith

Thad Smith is the Director of Mil/Aero and Medical Image Sensor Products at onsemi. They previously held positions at AMI Semiconductor, where they served as both a Mixed Signal Design Engineer and Director of Program Management, overseeing various ASIC projects and program management teams. Thad worked as an Engineer at Space Dynamics Laboratory, collaborating with NASA on environmental data systems for space. Their tenure at ON Semiconductor included roles such as Director of Business for Linear Light Sensor Products and Director of Image Sensor Products, where they managed teams across multiple countries and drove significant business growth. Thad holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Utah State University, both graduated Cum Laude.
