Ian Rummer

Ian Rummer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ian has worked at ON24 since 2015, starting as a Senior Client Service Support Specialist and progressing to roles such as Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and finally Manager of Virtual Event Services. In these positions, Ian oversaw various aspects of project management, including client interactions, timelines, and delivery dates, as well as personnel management and overseeing contract approvals.

Prior to their time at ON24, Ian worked at the U.S. National Whitewater Center from 2013 to 2015, where they served as a Site Lead, responsible for training and assessing land sport guides, maintaining a safe and fun environment for guests, and ensuring the cleanliness of the facility. Ian also worked as a Challenge Team Member, delivering team development sessions and guiding on the Canopy Tour.

In 2012, Ian worked as a Senior Climbing Instructor at High Sports Group Limited, where they instructed climbing sessions for a variety of ages and abilities and was also employed as a route-setter.

Before their professional career, Ian participated in various outdoor adventure activities. In 2011, they were a key member of a group that completed the first full descent of the Sun Kosi river in Nepal. Ian also worked as an ice and rock climbing instructor and summer mountain guide at The Ice Factor, responsible for instructing sessions and leading trips into the mountains.

Additionally, Ian has experience working as a Ropes Director at Camp Cayuga, where they were responsible for the running of climbing walls, a high ropes element, and zip line, as well as maintaining mountain biking equipment and overseeing lake and pool activities. Ian has also worked as a Lead Guide at Ziptrek Ecotours New Zealand and as a Senior Guide at Mad Dog Riverboarding.
