Ryan Beasley is a software developer and business consultant with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Ryan started their career in 2000, when they were a graduate student at Harvard div. of Engineering and Applied Sciences. For their dissertation, they conducted research on accurate control for non-ideal surgical robots. Ryan was also a Teaching Assistant at Harvard and a Graduate Research Assistant at MIT.

In 2006, they became an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering Technology at Texas A&M University, where they taught Electrical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering. Ryan also managed several undergraduates on research topics, as well as two senior capstone design teams.

In 2009, they co-founded Revolute Biomedical, LLC, where they did software development for numerical analysis of 3D medical images in Python with VTK and grantwriting for the NIH.

In 2013, they founded Ryan Beasley Consulting, LLC, where they work as a Business Consultant to think critically about how their clients make money and custom-design software solutions to improve their profits. Ryan also works with and for surgeons on medical device development.

In the same year, they also began working at SimQuest as a Computer Scientist.

Currently, they are a Principal Software Developer and Senior Developer at Onc.AI.

Ryan Beasley has a diverse educational background. Ryan obtained a Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences from Harvard University between 2000 and 2006. Prior to that, they completed a B.E. in Biomedical Engineering and Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University between 1996 and 2000. Ryan also attended the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy, though no degree or field of study is listed. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications: a Machine Learning certification from Coursera in 2021, and a Yellow Belt Certification from the International Association for Six Sigma Certification in 2021.
