Len Yu

Len Yu has extensive work experience in the tourism industry. Len most recently worked at STQRY as a Territory Manager for Oceania & Asia. Prior to that, Len founded YuanSphere Consulting and worked as a Business Analyst.

Len also has a significant background in tourism trade, having worked at WellingtonNZ for several years. Len started as a Communications Coordinator, where they were involved in PR and media relations, including designing media visit itineraries and managing PR campaigns. Len then progressed to roles as a Tourism Trade Coordinator, Specialist, and eventually as a Tourism Trade Manager, where they managed and delivered multiple tourism business development projects for Wellington. Len also provided consulting services and support to tourism operators and developed strong relationships with stakeholders in the tourism industry.

In addition to their work at WellingtonNZ, Len was also an Executive Committee Member at YoungTEC New Zealand, where they supported young tourism professionals and was responsible for various duties such as membership management and event coordination.

Prior to these roles, Len gained experience at Positively Wellington Tourism as a Wellington i-SITE Weekend Supervisor and Travel & Customer Service Consultant. In these positions, they provided excellent customer service, developed training manuals, and handled customer complaints effectively.

Len Yu attended Victoria University of Wellington from 2013 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Tourism Management. In 2021, Len enrolled in Whitecliffe - Technology & Innovation and completed a Diploma in Web Development and Design Level 5. They also engaged in studies related to UX Design through The Interaction Design Foundation, starting in 2021.

Additionally, Len obtained several certifications, including "Become a Project Management Entrepreneur" and "Consulting Foundations" from LinkedIn in November 2021, as well as "Programming Foundations: Software Testing/QA" from LinkedIn in August 2021.
