Claudia Scheckel

Claudia Scheckel has a diverse work experience in the field of biomedical research and consulting. Claudia is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Oncobit AG since June 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Universitätsspital Zürich as a Staff Scientist in the Aguzzi lab from March 2019 to June 2020, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Aguzzi lab from January 2016 to March 2019. Claudia also worked as a Consultant at Mabylon AG from January 2017 to May 2019. Before that, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Darnell lab at Rockefeller University from April 2012 to December 2015. Claudia began their career as a Postdoc and later a PhD student in the Ciosk lab at Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research from August 2007 to March 2012.

From 2002 to 2007, Claudia Scheckel attended the University of Regensburg, where they obtained a Diploma in Biology. Claudia then pursued further education at the University of Basel, earning a PhD in Biochemistry from 2007 to 2011. In 2017, Claudia attended the University of St.Gallen for a brief period, obtaining a CAS degree in Management.
