Fred Falkenburg

Fred Falkenburg is a Professor of Experimental Hematology (Emeritus) at Leiden University Medical Center. They hold both a PhD in Immunohematology and an MD from Universiteit Leiden. Fred serves on the Scientific Counsel for Stichting Kinderen Kankervrij (KiKa) and is a member of the Supervisory Boards for Stichting Matchis and Oncode Institute. Their past roles include being a Director at KWF Kankerbestrijding and Treasurer on the Board of Directors for The EBMT. Additionally, Fred was a Research Fellow at KNAW and held a Vice Chairman position at the Central Committee on Research Involving Human Subjects (CCMO).
