Jop Kind is currently a Group Leader at the Hubrecht Institute, specializing in Developmental Biology and Stem Cell Research. They co-founded sCellgen in 2024, focusing on innovative solutions for analyzing chromatin modifications and gene expression at the single-cell level. Previously, Jop served as a postdoc at NKI-AVL and EMBL from 2007 to 2014, and they hold a PhD from the EMBL international PhD programme. Additionally, they are a Principal Investigator at the Oncode Institute and a Professor of Single Cell Epigenomics at Radboud University, positions they have held since 2017 and 2021, respectively. Jop earned a Master's degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Amsterdam in 2002.
