Sofia Heigis ️

Sofia Heigis has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Sofia currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Oncopeptides AB (publ) since August 2023. Prior to their current role, they held various positions at the company, including Managing Director Germany and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Before joining Oncopeptides, Sofia worked at AstraZeneca for ten years, starting in 2010. Sofia'sroles at AstraZeneca included VP Medical-Regulatory, Business Unit Head Respiratory Inhaled portfolio (interim), and Global Medical Team member. Sofia also served as the Head of Medical Affairs teams across all Nordic and Baltic countries for Cardiovascular, Respiratory, and Metabolics. Additionally, they were a member of the Global Brilinta launch task force at AstraZeneca. Sofia began their career in the pharmaceutical industry as a Pharmaceutical Sales Rep and later worked as a Clinical Research Associate at AstraZeneca.

Sofia Heigis holds a Licensed Pharmacist Sweden, Master degree in Pharmacology from the University of Gothenburg. Sofia pursued their Master's thesis in Pharmacology: Enteric Nervous System at Bond University. Additionally, they also earned a Master of Pharmacology degree from the University of Gothenburg.
