Tracey Long is the Director of Clinical Education at HealthCare Partners, where coordination of clinical and patient education occurs across 53 clinics in southern Nevada since May 2015. Additionally, Tracey has been a Nursing Instructor at Nevada State College since 2013, teaching various nursing courses. Tracey is also a professor of nursing, providing instruction in advanced medical surgical nursing, pharmacology, and fundamental nursing skills. With experience as a freelance author and speaker since 2000, Tracey has authored and edited over 20 continuing education courses for nurses, and is a keynote speaker for various nursing events. Furthermore, Tracey serves as a marketing field representative for BYU Independent Study in southern Nevada and as the BYU Alumni Chapter Chair, organizing events for alumni. Previously, Tracey worked at Desert Springs Hospital as a Certified Diabetes Educator and ICU/IMC Staff Registered Nurse. Tracey holds a BSN from Brigham Young University and advanced degrees in public health and nursing education.
