Samuel Chen

Samuel Chen has a diverse background in technology, with over 20 years of experience. Samuel started as a software engineer with Dell Inc in 2001 and worked there for almost 7 years in various roles, including product manager and IT manager. During their time at Dell, they filed 4 patents with the US. In 2007, they started their own company, Ambonare, where they served as the President for over a decade, specializing in software development, IT systems, and cloud migration. In 2018, Ambonare was acquired by Red River, where Samuel served as an executive consultant for almost 2 years. Currently, Samuel is the Chief Executive Officer of OnData, Inc, which provides businesses with data management solutions to help them comply with regulations and scale their data storage.

Samuel Chen completed their MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from Texas McCombs School of Business in the years 2003 to 2006. Prior to this, they pursued an M.S. in Computer Science from Vanderbilt University from 1998 to 2000 and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Chinese Academy of Sciences from 1995 to 1998.
