Mathew Hall has an extensive work experience spanning from 1995-2020. In 1995, they were a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Physiology, Anatomy & Genetics at the University of Oxford. From 1997-1999, they were a College Lecturer at St. Catherine's College, University of Oxford. From 1999-2003, they completed postgraduate medical training in various UK hospitals, and was awarded Membership of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (MRCEM) in 2004. From 2003-2017, Hall worked as an Emergency Room Physician at the Princess Royal University Hospital in Kent, UK. In 2008, they co-authored and edited two textbooks of Emergency Medicine as well as peer-reviewed research publications and a large volume of medical training material. From 2017-2018, Hall took a career break to travel with their family and then retrained in web development and machine learning, gaining a certificate in web development from CWRU Coding Bootcamp. Since 2018, they have been working as a Freelance Full Stack Web Developer. In 2020, Hall became Co-Founder and CTO of OndeCare, a Techstars portfolio company that is the premium in-home care marketplace connecting families with professional caregivers.
Mathew Hall received their Bachelor of Science from the University of Durham (UK) in 1990, majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Mathew then went on to the University of Cambridge (UK) to receive their Doctor of Philosophy in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology in 1995. Finally, they obtained their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Oxford (UK) in 1999, specializing in Clinical medicine and the medical sciences.
