Jan Hellberg has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Most recently, they worked as a Senior Design Engineer at OnDosis since March 2021. Prior to that, they were a Design Engineer at Brigo from April 2019 to April 2020. Jan also served as a Design Engineer at Gothenburg medtech innovations AB, Cognibotics AB, and Bluetest AB in 2019, where they worked on projects related to medical devices, robot kinematics, and RF test chambers, respectively. Before that, they were a Lead Project Engineer at Polestar from October 2017 to March 2019, where they played a key role in the industrialization phase of the Polestar 1 project. Jan also worked as a Design Engineer at Escenda Engineering AB from September 2015 to March 2019, and as a System Engineer at CEVT (China Euro Vehicle Technology AB) from February 2017 to September 2017. Additionally, they were a Design Engineer at Polestar in 2016, focusing on the production of the "2018 aero package" in carbon fiber. Jan began their career at Volvo Cars as an Engineering/Concept Development Lead, where they led a project for the design of a collapsible front radar and grill proposal.

Jan Hellberg attended Aschebergsgymnasiet from 1983 to 1984, where they obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering as a technical college graduate.
