Patrick Bell

Patrick Bell serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Innovation Officer at One Acre Fund, where responsibilities include leading innovation and growth strategies, overseeing growth operations, and implementing a major initiative to transform the organization into an omni-channel business in Kenya. With a strong background in agricultural product innovation, prior roles include Director of Product Innovations and Product Innovations Manager, where significant achievements include reducing R&D spending and launching new product segments for smallholder farmers. Bell also holds an adjunct associate professorship at Oklahoma State University and has previously managed initiatives connecting agricultural research to market opportunities at The Ohio State University. With a Ph.D. in Agroecology, a Master's in Soil Chemistry and International Agriculture, and a Bachelor's in Environmental Science, Bell has contributed significantly to global food security and sustainable agriculture through various research and consulting roles.
