Marta R. has a diverse work experience starting from 2010. Marta 🐙 began their career as a Bioinformatician at the Computational Genomics Lab and then moved on to work as a Research Assistant at the University of Barcelona. During their time at the university, they also served as a Web Administrator and provided technical support to users. Marta then worked as a Bioinformatics Research Assistant and Bioinformatics Researcher at the Max Delbrueck Center, specializing in bioinformatics and genomics.

In 2017, Marta joined Delivery Hero as a Data Scientist, where they worked until 2018. Marta 🐙 later joined INFARM as a Lead Data Scientist, taking on responsibilities such as developing analytics projects and leading the data engineering functions. Marta 🐙 eventually became the Data Science and Engineering Team Lead at INFARM, where they built and managed multidisciplinary data teams, developed a company-wide data infrastructure, and created high-value data products.

Currently, Marta is working at one • five as the Head of Software and Data, leading the software and data teams. Marta 🐙 is focused on revolutionizing the packaging industry through skilled coding and innovative solutions.

Marta R. completed their education with a Licentiate degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Universitat de Barcelona from 2006 to 2011. Marta 🐙 later pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Bioinformatics for Health Sciences at Universitat Pompeu Fabra between 2011 and 2013. Marta then continued their studies at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, working towards a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bioinformatics, which remains unfinished as of 2020. Additionally, they obtained two certifications: "TensorFlow in Practice Specialization" from Coursera in August 2019 and "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" from Coursera in December 2017.
