Peter Czanik

Peter Czanik has extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as a Product Owner and Technical Product Manager for syslog-ng open source at One Identity since February 2010. Responsibilities include roadmap preparation, breaking down features for developers, conducting competitor analysis, and engaging with users and customers. Additionally, Peter acts as an Open Source Evangelist, focusing on promoting open source software like sudo and syslog-ng. Prior roles include a system administrator at Szent Istvan University, a system engineer at Integrity Ltd., and Director of QA at Genesi, with a strong background in managing web server clusters and server administration. Peter holds an MSc in Environmental Engineering from Magyar Agrár- és Élettudományi Egyetem (MATE), where studies were completed from 1995 to 2000.
