One-sixone brings to the energy sector its technological expertise in energy storage systems and intervenes when existing solutions do not meet the needs and requirements of its customers' applications.
Driven by a strong sense of innovation, customer satisfaction and operational excellence, One-sixone supports its customers in choosing the solution and its technology.
With a co-development approach, we develop solutions adapted to the requirements of our customers while guaranteeing safety, reliability, durability and performance.
Its know-how covers critical steps in the life cycle of battery systems (R&D, Development, & Validation, Certification, Manufacturing). One-sixone accelerates the innovations of its customers and accompanies them in the rise in TRL of their products.
The main activities of One-sixone are:
- Advice: choice of technologies;
- Development of li-ion cell in co-contracting: design choice, prototype manufacturing, performance evaluation and validation, industrialization and product qualification;
- Battery developments: choice of design, prototyping, performance evaluation and validation, industrialisation and product qualification;
- Sourcing: auditing and selection of suppliers, purchasing and monitoring quality of cell and batteries, monitoring and management of obsolescence of materials in order to guarantee performance;
Its activities are based on a two-pronged approach: Top down and Bottom up.
- Top down with a work on the identification of the needs of the application and the definition of the requirements and specifications of the battery system and the key subsystem that is the cell;
- Bottom-up or push technology with work on new technologies or electrochemistry of cell.
One-sixone’s ambition is to become a major player in the development and manufacture of battery systems for atypical and demanding applications.
