One World Surgery is a nonprofit confronting this global health crisis by partnering with communities, healthcare providers, and leaders in healthcare to deliver surgical services. Our vision is a world with safe, timely, and accessible surgical care.

The impact of surgical intervention is unlike any other health intervention. Surgery can cure 1/3 of all human illness and disease and can almost immediately change a person’s life.

In chronically underfunded health systems, surgical care is ignored and widely inaccessible to the poor. Local facilities lack appropriate supplies and equipment. Medical professionals do not have training in the latest techniques. Few can afford the high cost of surgery.

Patients often arrive at our center desperate for a solution. They have tried every avenue imaginable, but surgical care is dauntingly unavailable in their country. The impact of our work is immediately apparent when patients leave our facility—not only physically healed but with a renewed sense of hope for the future.

The Operations Team at One World Surgery ensures the seamless execution of surgical and primary care programs by coordinating logistics, managing finances, and overseeing supply chains. They organize events, maintain effective communication with stakeholders, and foster donor relationships to ensure the sustainability and expansion of the nonprofit's mission. Their efforts enable the delivery of high-quality, life-changing medical care to patients who lack access to necessary surgical services.

Operations Team

The Healthcare Professionals team at One World Surgery is dedicated to providing comprehensive surgical and primary care services. They support patients through the entire treatment process, from coordination of care to psychological support and medical intervention. The team comprises Patient Coordinators who manage patient logistics, Clinical Social Workers and Psychologists who address mental healthcare needs, General Physicians who handle primary care and pre/post-operative evaluations, and a Medical Director who oversees medical standards and practices. Together, they work to ensure that patients receive timely, high-quality medical care that transforms lives and restores hope.
