George Ermel

George Ermel has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. In 2020, they were appointed as Chief Financial & Operating Officer at OneBlinc where they apply high-tech solutions, big data, artificial intelligence, and omnichannel strategy to serve millions of people who don't have access to traditional lending. Prior to this, they spent 20 years at Citi, starting in 2000 as Sales and Client Engagement Market Head. In this role, they were responsible for strategy, sales, client engagement and management routines for Brazilian and Peruvian portfolio of affluent and high net worth clients in the US. George also acted as Sales Complex Head for the Citi International Financial Services Office in Miami and San Juan. During their tenure at Citi, they held various roles such as Sales Manager, Head of Banking Products and Payment Solutions Services, Head of Deposit Products & Wealth Planning, Product Manager, Finance Analyst - International Personal Bank, Finance Analyst - Consumer Bank, Sales Planning Analyst, and Operations Analyst at International Personal Bank.

George Ermel has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from FAAP - Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado, which they obtained between 1999 and 2005. In 2011, they completed an Executive Program in Customer-Focused Innovation from Stanford University. In 2018, they completed an Executive Program in Excellence in Sales Leadership from The Wharton School. Most recently, in 2022, they completed an Executive Program in Emerging CFO from Stanford University. Additionally, they have obtained five certifications from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority): Series 10 - General Securities Sales Supervisor (2017), Series 9 - General Securities Sales Supervisor - Options Module (2017), Series 24 - Registered Principal (2017), Series 66 - Uniform Combined State Law (2017), and Series 7 - General Securities Representative (2017).
