Benjamin Smith

Benjamin Smith has a diverse work experience that spans over multiple fields. Benjamin started their career at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a Graduate Student and later as a Post Doc. Benjamin then worked as an Artist in Residence at the Cleveland Institute of Art. Benjamin also worked at Case Western Reserve University as a Lead Technical Engineer and Adjunct Assistant Professor. Following this, they joined IUPUI as an Assistant Professor of Music and Art Technology, Computer Graphics Information Technology. Benjamin then transitioned to Boardable, Board Management Software as a Principal Data Scientist. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Data Scientist at OneCause.

Benjamin Smith earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Theory and Composition from Ithaca College from 1998 to 2002. Benjamin then pursued a Master's of Music degree in Music Theory and Composition from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2005 to 2007. Finally, they completed their education with a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Music Theory and Composition from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2005 to 2011.
