Kenneth LaRoe is currently the CEO of Climate First Bancorp and the Executive Chairman of Climate First Bank, roles they have held since 2025. They previously founded Climate First Bank in 2021 and served as its CEO until 2025. From 2009 to 2018, LaRoe was the CEO and Chairman of First Green Bank, the only bank with an environmental mission in the eastern United States at that time. Earlier in their career, they held multiple leadership positions, including Chairman, Shareholder, CEO, and President at Florida Choice Bank from 1996 to 2006. LaRoe earned a Juris Doctor Law degree from The University of Florida College of Law between 1990 and 1992.
