Asela Dasanayaka

Asela Dasanayaka has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and companies.

Starting in 2016, Asela worked as a Trainee Associate Software Engineer at Zone24x7 Inc. until 2017. Following this, in 2018, Asela joined WSO2 as a Software Engineer, where they provided development and production support services for WSO2 products.

In 2019, Asela worked as a Full Stack Developer and Research Assistant at Technical University Munich, where they designed and developed a text analysis system as a web application.

In 2020, Asela worked as a Freelance Data Analyst, undertaking small to medium-scale data analysis projects based on customer requirements.

In 2021, Asela joined Siemens as a Working Research Student, before transitioning to the role of a Senior Software Engineer at Creative Software. Asela then participated in the Google Summer of Code 2021 as part of the SCoRe Lab project and contributed to the TensorMap project.

Currently, Asela is working at Oneflow as a Backend Developer and Team Lead, responsible for assigning work priorities and leading a team of four engineers in the development of a core project.

Throughout their work experience, Asela has gained expertise in various programming languages, frameworks, and tools such as Python, Flask, MySQL, React, HTML, CSS, Git, and Docker.

Asela Dasanayaka completed their education in a chronological order. In 2004, they attended St.Sylvester's College Kandy and obtained their High School degree with a focus on the GCE Advanced Level, Physical Science Stream. From 2012 to 2013, they pursued a Professional Graduate Diploma in Computer System Design at the National Institute of Business Management (NIBM - Sri Lanka). Following that, they enrolled at the University of Peradeniya from 2014 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Engineering. Asela'seducational journey continued at the Technical University of Munich from 2019 to 2021, where they completed their Master's degree in Data Engineering and Analytics.
