Sorin Munteanu

Sorin Munteanu has a diverse work experience in engineering management and leadership roles. Sorin started their career in 2011 as a Junior Design Engineer, where they independently designed cost-effective solutions for low-complexity projects and collaborated with the sales department to provide efficient designs for clients. In 2016, they became the Team Leader of the Engineering Department, coordinating engineering capacity and ensuring solutions met project requirements. Sorin also implemented a capacity planning tool and provided technical guidance for cross-functional collaboration. From 2016 to 2018, Sorin took on the role of Head of Engineering Department | Engineering Manager, where they reorganized the department, established support functions, and implemented guidelines to improve cross-border project collaboration in Belgium and Luxembourg. In 2018, they became the Head of Engineering Department | Engineering Manager BeNeLux, responsible for implementing a matrix organization structure and creating a collaboration platform for engineering projects within the same market unit. Sorin oversaw the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities of the Engineering Department in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. Most recently, Sorin joined Oneflow in 2022 as an Engineering Manager, assuming the role of overseeing the engineering team's operations, budget, and financial responsibilities.

From 2021 to the present, Sorin attended Harvard University and studied CS50's Introduction to Computer Science. Sorin is currently pursuing this field of study.

From 2006 to 2010, Sorin attended Universitatea Transilvania din Brașov, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design.

From 2002 to 2006, Sorin attended Mircea Cristea Technical College, where they obtained a Technical degree in Technical studies.

In addition to their formal education, Sorin has obtained several certifications. In March 2022, they obtained the certification for Programming Foundations: Fundamentals from LinkedIn. In February 2022, they obtained the certification for Scrum: The Basics, also from LinkedIn. In April 2020, Sorin obtained the certification for Managing Stress for Positive Change and Working Remotely, both from LinkedIn.
