Alexander Cherry

Solutions Architect, Business Development at OneGlobe

Alexander Cherry started their work experience in 2015 as an Office Assistant at Northeastern University. In 2016, they worked as a Software Engineer Co-Op at American Student Assistance, where they developed responsive UI layouts and features for the saltmoney.org website. Alexander then transitioned to the role of a Front-End Web Developer at the same company, maintaining the front end of the saltmoney.org product. In 2018, they joined OneGlobe LLC as a Full-stack Developer, where they served as the technical lead developer for the FEMA Grants Management Modernization contract. Alexander provided technical architecture and implementation discussions, oversaw a workstream of 20 engineers, and advised federal staff on application maintenance and feature development. Currently, Alexander holds the position of Solutions Architect and Business Development at OneGlobe LLC.

Alexander Cherry completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University, which they attended from 2014 to 2018. Prior to their college education, they obtained a High School Diploma from Cranston High School West. In addition to their formal education, Alexander has also obtained certifications in the field of Amazon Web Services (AWS). Alexander is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, which they received from Amazon Web Services in August 2020, and an Amazon Web Services Developer - Associate, obtained in October 2019.
