Devanand Nayak

Devanand Nayak has extensive work experience in the field of data engineering and software engineering. Devanand is currently working as a Data Engineer at OneGlobe LLC since January 2023. Prior to this, Devanand worked as a Lead Data Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton starting in June 2021.

From April 2018 to May 2021, Devanand served as a DevOps/database Consultant at Freddie Mac, Bureau of Census, and Onbe. Devanand was responsible for providing consulting services in the areas of DevOps and database management.

Devanand also worked as a Data Architect at Barquin International/Bureau of Census from April 2008 to April 2018. Devanand played a key role in designing and implementing data architecture solutions.

Before that, from February 2007 to April 2008, Devanand worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Freddie Mac. Devanand also held similar roles as a Senior Software Engineer at Fannie Mae from March 2006 to February 2007 and at Freddie Mac from December 2004 to February 2006.

Devanand started their career as a Software Engineer at Verizon in January 2002, where they worked until November 2004. Devanand also gained experience as a Software Engineer at Infinite Computer Solutions from November 1999 to December 2001.

Devanand Nayak completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mangalore University from 1994 to 1998. During the same period, they also pursued their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology. In addition to their formal education, Devanand obtained certifications from various institutions. In 2015, they became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate through Amazon Web Services. Devanand further expanded their knowledge by obtaining the Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Associate certification from Oracle in 2016. Most recently, in 2020, Devanand completed the AWS for DevOps: Security, Governance, and Validation certification through LinkedIn.
