Jeff Nelson

Jeff Nelson is a social entrepreneur and Co-Founder of OneGoal, where they served as CEO for 12 years, transforming the organization from a startup to a national leader in postsecondary education, impacting over 13,000 students annually. Since stepping into the Chairman role in 2019, Jeff has contributed further as an advisor at Opportunity Labs and as a Beck Visiting Social Innovator at Harvard Kennedy School. Their work led to accolades including the Bluhm/Helfand Social Innovation Fellowship Award and recognition as one of the "40 Under 40" by Crain’s Chicago. Jeff holds a BA in History from the University of Michigan, an MA in Teaching from Dominican University, and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.
