Tim King

Tim King has over 25 years of experience in sales and business development roles within the financial technology industry. Tim began their career at Thomson Financial, where they successfully grew their territory and achieved significant new business sales. Tim then went on to work at Market News International, Dow Jones Newswires, and Informa Global Markets, where they were responsible for selling financial news and market analysis products to major accounts across Europe.

In 2003, Tim joined the London Stock Exchange Group as a Sales Manager, where they played a key role in growing new client numbers and developing strong revenue streams for the company. Tim continued their career at Corero Network Security and Vhayu Technologies, where they held director-level positions and focused on sales and business development within the financial sector.

In 2009, Tim joined OneMarketData as the Director of Sales for the EMEA region. Tim played a crucial role in promoting OneTick, a comprehensive tick data solution, to hedge funds, mutual funds, banks, and other financial institutions.

In recent years, Tim has taken on advisory roles, including at ThinkSense.ai, where they advised on sales and wealth creation strategies for their automation solutions.

Most recently, Tim founded OneTick Sales Limited in 2018, where they serve as the Managing Director, overseeing sales operations and business development. Their extensive experience in the financial technology industry has made him a valuable asset in driving sales and revenue growth.

Tim King completed their BSc (Hons) degree in Printing and Packaging Technology from the University of Hertfordshire from 1983 to 1987. Tim further pursued their education and obtained an MBA degree in Business Administration & Corporate Finance from The Open University from 2002 to 2006.
