James M.

James M. has held a variety of positions in the information security field. In 2007, they began their career as a Network Operations Specialist in the US Army. In 2020, they joined the University of Arizona as a HIPAA Security Analyst. In 2021, they were hired as an Information Security Manager at BlueNovo, where they served as the cyber security point person and developed security best practices and risk mitigation strategies. Later in 2021, James began working at the University of Arizona as an Information Security Analyst II, where they conducted risk assessments and coordinated vulnerability scans. Finally, in 2022, they were hired as an Information Security and Privacy Manager at One Model, where they designed and maintained internal security processes and maintained key certifications.

James M. has an education history that includes a Bachelor's of Applied Science in Cyber Operations: Defense & Forensics from the University of Arizona (2016-2019), an Associate of Science (AS) in Science from Pima Community College (2013-2016), a Basic Fiber Optic Installation Course from L3 Communications (2009), and a Microwave System Operator-Maintainer from the U.S. Army (2007-2008). James also has two certifications, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² (obtained in September 2022) and CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA (obtained in October 2019).
