Yan Lee has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. They started their career as a Brand Ambassador at ACTIVNATION from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, Yan joined Telstra as a Customer Advisor & Technician until 2015, and then transitioned to the role of NBN Provisioning Specialist until 2018.

In 2016, Yan worked at Austern International as an International Millennial Leadership Program Alumni, where they created and implemented an offline marketing campaign for a travel experiences booking startup. Later in 2016, Yan joined Woolworths Group as a Talent Acquisition Advisor for a fixed-term contract, managing recruitment needs and building relationships with candidates and stores.

From 2017 to 2023, Yan had multiple roles at Woolworths Group. They started as a Talent Acquisition Advisor, supporting nationwide mass recruitment and improving processes. They then transitioned to the role of Talent Team Experience Project Support, leading a team and optimizing SuccessFactors for candidate experience. Yan also served as a Process Improvement Coordinator, streamlining workflows and training the team. Finally, they worked as a Process Improvement Advisor, leading transformation in Payroll and developing new processes to meet government requirements.

Most recently, Yan joined One Model in 2023 as a Customer Success & People Analyst.

Yan Lee attended the Queensland Academies for Science, Maths & Technology for high school and completed the International Baccalaureate program. Yan then went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management/Arts at The University of Queensland from 2011 to 2016. During their undergraduate studies, in 2014, they also obtained a Language Diploma in Korean Language and Literature from Korea University. Additionally, in the same year, they briefly attended Yonsei University for further studies in Business Management/Arts.
