James McCarthy

James McCarthy is an Engineer at OneNet Global. James was previously the Support Operations Manager at Evolve IP from July 2018 to November 2020. Prior to that, they were the Network Operations Center Manager at Advanced Integrated Technologies from November 2015 to July 2018. McCarthy started their career in September 2005 as a Network Operations Center Technician at POPP Communications, where they were responsible for the configuration and maintenance of ISP/Telecommunications network equipment, including MetaSwitch Class 5 telecommunications switch, Cisco carrier-class routers and Adtran broadband platforms. James also provided Tier 3 support for Technical Assistance team for a broad range of products, platforms and services. McCarthy has a wealth of experience in programming, deployment and maintenance of Hosted PBX systems, and wiring and cabling of backbone equipment in the Network Operations Center.

James McCarthy has a Bachelor of Science in Geology/Hydrogeology from the University of Minnesota Duluth. James has worked in the field of geology/earth science for many years and is currently a professor at the university.
