Matthew Sanders

Matthew Sanders has worked in the software development and programming industry since 2008. Theirfirst role was as a Software Developer (Intern) for the Virginia Department of Mines, Minerals, and Energy in 2008. In 2009, they were a Graduate Assistant at East Tennessee State University, teaching basic computer skills and Microsoft Office programs. In 2011, they were a Software Developer at Holston Medical Group, developing and maintaining software and interface solutions. Matthew also worked as a Software Developer/IT Consultant at Lucent Glow in 2011, doing custom software development in VB.NET and C#. Since 2016, they have been working at OnePartner as a Developer/Programmer IV and a Software Developer II, leading the development of an application providing access to HIE patient record information and population health analytics. Matthew has also been collecting and submitting clinical quality data for ACOs contributing to the HIE.

Matthew Sanders obtained a Master's degree in Applied Computer Science from East Tennessee State University between 2009 and 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The University of Virginia's College at Wise between 2005 and 2009.
