David Kinch

David Kinch is currently an advisor at OnePointOne. Prior to that, they worked as a Mechatronics Engineer at Delucchi Electric from November 2016 to October 2018. There, they collaborated closely with a team of electrical and computer engineers on design and prototyping robotic products. David applied engineering and critical problem solving abilities on machine and robotics projects covered by NDA. Their work included programming servo motors, designing custom mounts, gears, and various parts to build quality structure and power transmission assemblies. David consulted often with our programming department on the best ways to solve navigation and pathfinding algorithms, and coordinated closely with our project manager to clarify constraints and criteria of the project, plan deadlines, and manage the projects.

Prior to their work at Delucchi Electric, David Kinch worked as a marketing intern at Tavant Technologies. David also has experience working in I.T. Help Desk at Sierra Pacific Mortgage from June 2015 to August 2015, and Manufacturing Inventory Intern at Duralum Products Inc from October 2013 to October 2013.

David Kinch attended Sacramento Waldorf High School and then went on to Santa Clara University where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. After working for a few years, they decided to return to school and earned a Master of Engineering from Santa Clara University in Mechanical Engineering.
