Jungho Park (박정호)

Data Scientist at onepredict

Jungho Park has been working in the field of data science since 2012. In 2012, they began as a Research Assistant at Seoul National University, where they developed predictive maintenance algorithms using current and vibration signals from industrial applications like wind turbines, robots, and automotive. Jungho received three awards from global data challenge competitions and is skilled in Matlab, Python, and Labview. In 2017, they worked as a Visiting Researcher at PARC, a Xerox Company, where they developed algorithms for anomaly detection and energy management using time-series data from manufacturing applications. During this time, they were awarded three US patents based on the algorithms developed. In 2018, they worked as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Alberta, where they developed a fault diagnosis algorithm for gearboxes under variable-speed conditions using 2-D FFT image data. Currently, they are a Data Scientist at OnePredict, a B2B industrial AI startup in a stage of Series-C. Jungho is responsible for developing diagnosis and prognosis algorithms of GuardiOne, Onepredict's predictive maintenance solution, performing EDA (exploratory data analysis) based on the real-world data from industrial applications, and collaborating with product development groups to efficiently embed the algorithms into products.

Jungho Park received their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Seoul National University in 2012. Jungho then went on to receive their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the same university in 2019.
