Anthony Lafitte

Anthony Lafitte is a Senior Aeroacoustics Engineer at ONERA - The French Aerospace Lab since September 2023, with extensive experience in aeroacoustics. Previously, Anthony served at Safran from October 2012 to September 2023, where responsibilities included leading an expert team on quiet turbofan designs and overseeing fan noise activities for various turbofan projects, including the LEAP turbofan. Prior to this, Anthony was a PhD student in aeroacoustics at Liebherr Aerospace between October 2009 and November 2012, focusing on the prediction of confined jet noise. Anthony began career development as an intern in aeroacoustics at Exa Corporation in 2008. Anthony holds a PhD in Acoustics from Ecole Centrale de Lyon and an Engineer's degree in Acoustics from ENSIP - Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Poitiers, along with a recent Data Scientist qualification from DataScientest.com.
