Loïc Ruan

Loïc Ruan is an engineer specializing in aerodynamic propulsion at ONERA - The French Aerospace Lab, where they focus on the design and optimization of aircraft combustion chambers through high-fidelity numerical simulations. Previously, they worked at CS Group as a thermohydraulics study engineer and contributed as a PhD student in Energetics at CNRS CORIA & DGA, where they conducted large-scale simulations of supersonic combustion. Loïc also gained experience through internships at AREVA NP, and has taught fluid dynamics and related courses at INSA Rouen Normandie. They hold a Doctorate in Fluid Mechanics from Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Rouen and multiple engineering degrees in hydraulics and fluid mechanics.
