Mathieu Salz is an accomplished researcher and engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering and computational science. Currently serving as a Masters Intern at ONERA - The French Aerospace Lab since September 2025, Mathieu previously gained valuable experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at EPFL and as a Payload FEA Lead for the McGill Rocket Team. A former Software Engineer at Aptivio, Mathieu contributed to the development of an AI platform aimed at enhancing the sales process. Additionally, Mathieu undertook research in AI and Deep Learning applications for mechanical engineering during an undergraduate assistantship at McGill University and as a Mitacs Accelerated Researcher. Mathieu holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University and is pursuing a Master's degree in Computational Science and Engineering at EPFL.
