Nicolas Bertier

Phydrogene Projet Manager at ONERA

Nicolas Bertier is an accomplished professional in the field of fluid mechanics and combustion, currently serving as the PHYDROGENE Project Manager at ONERA - The French Aerospace Lab since January 2006. With extensive experience in numerical simulation and modeling, Nicolas has held various significant roles, including Special Adviser for numerical simulation and representative for the regional key challenge "Green Hydrogen." Notable project management roles include overseeing the ODYSSEY, CEDRE, Sigma, and CLEANER projects, which focus on advancements in propulsion and combustion instabilities. In addition to their research work, Nicolas contributes to academia as a teaching assistant and part-time teacher in multiple prestigious institutions such as ISAE-SUPAERO, INSA Toulouse, Sorbonne University, and Pierre and Marie Curie University. Nicolas holds a Ph.D. in fluid mechanics and a Master's degree in energetics from Pierre and Marie Curie University, along with an education from École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay.
