Philippe Castaing

Philippe Castaing (PhD) currently serves as Vice President of the ASTECH AeroSpace Technology Cluster since June 2022 and as Director of IP Technology Transfer and Partnerships at ONERA - The French Aerospace Lab since April 2023, where Philippe is also a member of the Executive Committee and manages Onera Academy. Philippe Castaing has extensive experience in the aerospace industry, having held roles such as Development Director at IFREMER from January 1988 to October 1992 and multiple positions at Cetim - Centre Technique des Industries Mécaniques between October 1996 and October 2014, including Quality Manager and Project Manager. Philippe Castaing holds a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Material Science from Toulouse INP-ENSIACET, a PhD in Polymer & Composite Materials from Toulouse INP, and has pursued additional studies in performance management and control.
