Engineer In Simulation And Virtual Environment at ONERA

Stéphane Roussel is an experienced engineer specializing in simulation and virtual environments at ONERA - The French Aerospace Lab since September 2020. Previously, Stéphane held roles as a post-doctoral researcher at the Institut d'Optique Graduate School, focusing on active infrared polarimetric imaging systems, and as a PhD student in the same institution, working on the characterization and optimization of polarimetric imaging systems. Additionally, Stéphane contributed as a teaching assistant at Université Paris-Saclay, educating students in industrial computing and JAVA programming. Earlier experiences include work as a trainee engineer in photonics at Ecole Polytechnique and internships at Oregon Health and Science University and various CEA laboratories. Stéphane holds a PhD in Physics from Université Paris-Saclay and an engineering degree in Photonics and Optronic Systems from Polytech Paris-Saclay.
