OneTable Names Adi Hila Yoffe Barman as Director of New Business Initiatives

OneTable, a company that empowers people who don’t yet have a consistent Shabbat dinner practice to build one that feels authentic, sustainable, and valuable, appoints Adi Hila to the team as Director of New Business Initiatives. As the former Director of Business Development at Masa Israel Journey, has experience in nonprofit organizations, social services, retail and FinTech/ Social innovation startups. She dedicated the last decade to assisting organizations to thrive and develop to their full potential, by focusing on product innovation and national/ international partnerships. Prior to her time there, Director of Business Development and Fundraising Consultant at Perry Davis Associates. Her responsibilities in this role will include working closely with colleagues on the leadership team to drive the development and implementation of all new products and strategic alliances. The Director of New Business Initiatives will cultivate and nourish powerful external collaborations that are mutually beneficial. She'll works closely with the CEO and development staff to identify and cultivate new funding partners for expansion efforts, including fees for service. Having completed her undergraduate studies at Ben Gurion University of the Negev (in Israel) and holds a master’s in industrial and organizational psychology from the City University of New York, Adi is also certified in project management and workforce development and training by New York University. Shabbat has always had great personal meaning for Adi Hila as a time for reflection, gratitude and connection which creates a strong sense of belonging no matter where you are in the world. She is very excited to join the OneTable team, and help to develop new initiatives and ensure OneTable’s outreach and growth. "Growing up, we mostly had Shabbat dinner with my father's side of the family. I was the youngest grandchild, always seated at the head of the table next to my grandfather. No rules. Just fun, laughter and a lot of good food. As a child, it was the part of the week that I always looked forward to. This is how I hope my children will experience Shabbat one day. After we moved to the US, Shabbat grew a deeper meaning. There were times when I was dealing with hard situations far away from home. The Shabbat ritual really centered me. Lighting the shabbat candles every Friday gave me the opportunity to reflect on the greater meaning of life's events. This gift of meaning was priceless, and it's this gift that OneTable is now helping everyone to find. In my position, alongside an amazingly talented team, I will help to expand the OneTable brand to communities and individuals who are not yet familiar with this experience. Now more than ever, an organization who welcomes you as you are and offers a sense of belongingness is a burning need. OneTable is a key ingredient in the secret sauce of what's keeping us connected.”
