Founded as a community-based organization (CBO) in 2017 in East Africa, OneTripAfrica has grown into Africa’s #1 travel platform specializing in bespoke African safari expeditions across all of the continent. Our journey began with a mission to give back to nature and communities through sustainable tourism, elephant-human coexistence projects, fostering economic empowerment, and creating authentic multicultural experiences.

Today, OneTripAfrica connects discerning travelers to private guides, authentic lodges, including community-owned and eco-conscious properties, and immersive cultural interactions across Africa’s most pristine and iconic wildlife destinations. With a strong commitment to environmental stewardship, local partnerships, and responsible travel, we ensure every journey uplifts the ecosystems and communities we visit.

Based in Washington State, U.S. for logistical ease and global partnerships, OneTripAfrica champions continent-wide bookings, collaborating closely with locally run tour companies, CBOs, and African Tourism Boards to make travel seamless, impactful, and transformative for all—whether solo adventurers, families, corporate groups, or students on gap years.
