Kabir Barday

Kabir Barday is the CEO at OneTrust. Kabir was previously the Director of Product Management at VMware AirWatch from January 2014 to December 2016. Kabir was responsible for leading the team from idea to launch of the privacy framework, which won the HP-IAPP Most Innovative Privacy Technology Award. Kabir also founded App Config For Enterprise (ACE) industry group and recruited Salesforce, Cisco, Box, Workday, and Xamarin as launch partners. Kabir partnered with Apple and Google to evolve ACE group into AppConfig.org community. Kabir was also responsible for app management, app development, telecom analytics, and VPN gateway related solutions. Kabir established an app development product team and roadmap. Prior to AirWatch, they were the Americas Lead - Consulting Services and Enterprise Support from January 2010 to December 2014. Before that, they were a Developer at BlackRock from January 2009 to December 2009.

Kabir Barday graduated with a BS in Computer Science - Networking and Devices from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Kabir also has a certification in Entrepreneurship from the same school. Kabir is a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) and a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals. Kabir is also a Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) from the same organization. In addition, they are a Certified Information Privacy Professional/US Private Sector (CIPP/US) from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals. Lastly, they have a certification from the Scrum Alliance in Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
