Daniel Budac is an Incoming Winter Risk Analyst at Onex, having started the role in November 2025 as part of the Risk Management and Investment Technology team. Prior to this, Daniel worked as a Client Enablement Analyst at BMO Capital Markets, focusing on electronic trading for fixed income products and derivatives. Daniel's earlier experience includes a role as a Data Analyst at FortressFire, where expertise in Python, R, and SQL was utilized to develop reports and analyses for wildfire risk assessment. Additionally, Daniel served as an Assistant Teacher at Spirit of Math Schools Inc., supporting classroom teachers and aiding students in grades 2, and 6-8. Daniel is currently pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Mathematics degree with a major in Statistics and a minor in Computing at the University of Waterloo, expected to graduate in 2028.
