Laurent Drion is the Founder and Partner of E-Merge sa-nv, an Angel Fund based in Brussels that has made over 40 direct early-stage investments since its inception in 1998, primarily as a lead investor in Europe and the United States, with a full deployment status since mid-2018. In addition to E-Merge, Laurent Drion actively invests in several prominent companies, including AngelList, SpaceX, Spreedly, The Boring Company, Spire Global, Inc., Ordoro, HappyCo, LeoLabs, and Onfleet. Laurent Drion holds a degree in Commercial Engineering from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, completed between 1988 and 1993.
