Mariana Assis has worked in a variety of roles since 2004. Mariana began their career as an Estagiária at the Centro de Documentação e Informação Turística (CEDITUR) in December 2004. In August 2007, they became an Estagiária for Licitações at Empresa Municipal de Turismo (Belotur). In 2008, they worked as an Estagiária at both the Fundação Clóvis Salgado (Palácio das Artes) and the Fundação de Parques Municipais (FPM - Parque das Mangabeiras). From 2009 to 2012, they worked as an Auxiliar de Reservas e Eventos at Nacional Hotelaria Ltda. From 2013 to 2021, they worked at Grupo Master Turismo in roles such as Especialista I and Analista Corporativo III. Most recently, they have been working at Onfly as a Key Account and Customer Success Analyst.

Mariana Assis completed a degree in Turismóloga from Centro Universitário Newton Paiva from 2004 to 2008. Mariana then went on to pursue an MBA in Administração e Qualidade from Centro Universitário Internacional UNINTER, which they are still working towards.
