Jan Williams

Jan Williams has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jan started their career as a Restaurant Manager at Humber Royal Hotel in 1980. Jan then worked as an Assistant and Relief Manager at Bass Leisure - Coral Snooker from 1983 to 1987. Following that, they worked as a Recruitment Consultant at Angel International Recruitment Fleet St, London EC4 from 1987 to 1995. In 2000, they joined the Pre-school Learning Alliance as a Resources Officer until 2003. In 2001, they became the Chair of Governors at South Ferriby Primary School and held the position until 2012. From 2003 to 2013, they were the Managing Director at Ongo Recruitment (formerly Crosby Employment) and won the Yorkshire and Humber Social Enterprise of the Year award. Jan then joined Cloverleaf Community Cafes Ltd as Managing Director from 2007 to 2013. Currently, they are the Head of Opportunities at Ongo since 2013.
