Chris MacGregor is a highly experienced software engineer with a robust background in both consulting and full-time positions. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at ONI since April 2022, Chris also holds the title of Principal Engineer at Wallingford Imaging Systems, specializing in affordable sensor and imaging technology. Chris's consulting work spans multiple projects involving significant enhancements to open-source software and various hardware interfaces. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer at Google, Principal Engineer at Xaitel Communications, and Senior Staff Software Engineer at Sony Electronics, among others. A graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a BS in Computer Science, Chris demonstrates extensive expertise in embedded systems, software development, and technical leadership across various industries.
