Howon Lee

Howon Lee is a Senior Engineer in Fluidics Integration at ONI, bringing seven years of experience in the design and development of opto-microfluidic systems for optical DNA synthesis technology. With a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from 서울대학교, Howon has a robust background in photonics, genetics, and nanotechnology. They have contributed to highly multidisciplinary projects and invented various novel devices and methods in microfluidic assays and DNA synthesis. Prior to their current role at ONI, Howon held positions at Harvard Medical School, Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering, and Singular Genomics, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills throughout their career.
